Navigate to the "folder" that needs to get write permissions (indicated in the setup of the widget) with your favorite FTP program, right click with your mouse on that folder and make sure its permissions are set to 777. Make sure if your ''MOD_SECURITY'' is on, that you dont change the permissions to 777 but just leave to to the default value of 755 and it should just work. Servers that have MOD_SECURITY installed dont like it when you set it to 777 and will deal with the provess automatically. So first try 755 and if images save ok, all is fine. If they arent saving try to manually set the folder to 777 Q: So i bought a widget .. what now? A: You bought a widget so you should be able to download the sourcefiles. Upload these files unzipped to your domain and navigate to it in the browser. Now you will see an initial setup screen where you can set you embed code preference and your backlink preference.
