How to install purchased glittertools.com widgets onto your domain!Step 1: Create an account at glittertools.com or login and add a few credits. Make sure you have an account with us (register) and that your account if filled with the credits you need. Our widgets on average cost around 1 to 19 credits and a credit on average is around 50 cent. You can obtain credits in the add credit tab in your glittertools account. Step 2: Browse glittertools.com and find the widget you would like to install. Use the search box or the categories to browse through our website and find the widget you would like to install onto your domain. For example lets say you wanted to install our Harry Potter Slot Machine: 
Step 3: Press the buy button for the widget you selected. Once you found the widget you like look for the buy now button. Lets stay with our Harry Potter Slot Machine example, i added a red arrow pointing to the buy button. 
Step 4: Fill in the domain you want a license for (make sure you a logged in) Fill in the domain you want a license for. The widget will not work on another domain as the license system will pick that up and stop the display. Fill in your domain like www.yourdomain.com and press download widgets. In this example im gonna ask the glittertools system to make a license for a site called: www.msnletters.info, so i type that in and then i press "download widget". 
Step 5: Source & License created ... Visit your account. Once you pressed "download widget" in step 4 it forwards you to the following page where it says your downloaded files are being prepared. (1st image) You can just let this page be for what it is and press the your account button in the glittertools header. (2nd image) In your account the widgets are ordered by purchased date and thus your last widget will be listed there for easy download. 
Step 6: Download the license and widget sourcefiles via your account page. As you can see the widget i just ordered for www.msnletters.info is now listed at the top of my account. Now first look for the sourcefiles link (pointed out in image 2). The best thing to do now is just make a folder on your desktop e.g. mynewwidget, rightmouse click the sourcefiles link and via the save as option in the rightmouse menu and save the zipfile into your newly created folder on your desktop. 
Step 7: Extract the sourcefiles.zip in your folder on teh desktop After you downloaded the sourcefiles.zip and license.lic into your desktop folder called "mynewwidget" you have a situation like in picture 1. Then you can extract the sourcefiles.zip like in picture 2. 
Step 8: Create a folder on your webserver un upload the files The best thing to do now is open your favorite ftp application and navigate to your website root. I use filezilla myself and this is how it looks when i opened mynewwidget on my desktop. (picture 1) Then i created a folder on msnletters.info's root called harry-potter-slot-machine and drag and dropped the files from the leftside (mynewwidget desktop folder) to the rightside (harry-potter-slot-machine webserver folder) 
Step 9: Navigate to the final setup page in your browser Now you have created a new folder on your webserver you can reach it through the browser. I made the folder harry-potter-slot-machine on www.msnletters.info so i can now open it by opening my favorite browser and navigating to the url: http://www.msnletters.info/harry-potter-slot-machine. I kept the page there so you can see a setup page example or you can look at image 1. On the setup page you can fill in your desired keyword and check if the widget is working, then you press generate code and the final embed code is offered. 
Step 10:Checkout the finalresult The final embed code in this case looks like this: And would render like this: You could now add this widget to your website and wrap your design around it. integrating the final embed code into your websites design Now you can integrate the widget into your designs, but this is a bit different. For example you could have a wordpress site running onwhich you would like to create a page and add the widget into that ... or you could perhaps have a static html page site or perhaps a joombla site etc etc etc You get the picture, there are many setups possible. The main thing to understand is that once the widget runs ok from your setup folder it is ready to be integrated in any way possible. integrating the final embed code into a wordpress site Lets say you have a wordpress CMS installed on your domain. You could now navigate to your wordpress admin and create a new post. In that post you add the widget code and it should render the widget. If it doesnt as not all servers act the same, you might need a plugin to add flash files to your wordpress. In my own endavours i noticed that the wordpresses via blogger.com etc will take the embed code directly without the need to of plugins. however if i install my own wordpress on some domain of mine and then make a post in that wordpress site, i do need a plugin. What i did was i downloaded the plugin kimili-flash-embed and i use that to add the widget flash files to a post. Lets say i press create new post after i installed that plugin, then i can press a little flash box thats added to the new post interface. When you press it it looks like picture 1. Then i take the full url to the SWF file we just uploaded ... thisone --> http://www.msnletters.info/harry-potter-slot-machine/wrapper.swf?linkUrl=http://www.msnletters.info&linkTitle=MyKeyword&fullpath=http://www.msnletters.info/harry-potter-slot-machine/&showEmbedShare=yes&keyValue=4zGh8t9sFK1F0qh&swfWidth=340&swfHeight=472&mainSwfFile=main.swf and i copy and paste it into the plugin where it says flash swf. Next i copy the width from the generated embed code into the plugin and the height. One last thing i do is i press the more button and i set teh WMODE to transparant so the background is transparant. On widgetwacker.com i added like 50 of the widgets from glittertools.com that way :)
