Q: Do you make custom widgets and what does it cost?
A: Yes this is possible, we do custom widgets! But only if we know exactly what kind of widget you like to see created we can define the price as we then can check the labor it might take etc!
Q: Can that gigya code be replaced with a normal textbox?
A: Yes this is possible if you really dont like gigya!
Q: What is widget, gadget or generator?
A: This is a tool provided by a third party.
Q: Why people would use this?
A: This is a easy way to generate fun content for a website, blog email or myspace profile site.
Q: Why would it benefit webmasters?
A: All our widgets have a backlink to the buyers (your) Website or a backlink will be stamped on a generated image! What this means is that your site gets promoted by your users while they are having fun, as your url will be visible on teh generated outputs!
Q: What is the difference between a free and a paid widget?
A: The free widgets will have a few backlinks to glittertools.com on them, and will also generate our links on the output files. The paid versions have your links in the code and generate your link on the output files. No backlinks to glittertools at all are in a purchased version!
Q: How do i order a widget?
A: Simply enter your domain name above the buy button, press the buy button and it will redirect you to paypal. Finish the payment and read the instruction sent to your paypal email address!
Q: Can i only order by paypal?
A: On this moment we only accept orders by paypal, but if needed we can make other arrangements if you want to buy multiple widgets!
Q: Can i use one generator only for 1 domain?
A: Yes
Q: Do i get the Flash source files (FLA files)
A: No simply because we want protect our hard work from sharks.
Q: After installed the files i get an error message, how can i fix this?
A: Make sure you download the license file we sent to your email (license.lic) and place it in the same folder as the sourcefile folder. Also in the sourcfiles index.html is one line of php that has to be there or else the full path cant be read out. If you only uploaded our sourcefiles then it will be included and there should be no problem, but if you want to cut the html code somewhere else make sure you include get_current_path.php before the embed flash part!
Q: Why don't the pictures save to my computer!
A: navigate to the "temp" with your favorite FTP program, right click with your mouse on that folder and make sure its permissions are set to 777. This means that in folder "temp" images may be stored! Make sure if your ''MOD_SECURITY'' is on, that you dont change the permissions to 777 but just leave to to teh default value of 755 and it should just work. Servers that have MOD_SECURITY installed dont like it when you set it to 777 and will deal with the provess automatically.
Q: I got internal server error, waht do i have to do?
A: The ''.htaccess file'' might not be compatible with your server. remove the original .htaccess file that came with the sourcefiles and rename .htaccess_if_server_gives_internal_error to .htaccess and upload thatone instead! That should fix the error and make the application run!
